My first game was LoZ, but..I dont remember it much at all. I only remember the gold cartridge, and walking around in the mountains, thats it. But my real love for Zelda came when I got OoA and OoS, I fell in love with those games, they took up most of my childhood, I still play them today..well...not OoA anymore..it wont turn on!! NOOOOO, and OoA was my favorite of the 2..Then I went to play LADX, than I bought OoT used "I was like 9, I didnt know it was greatest game ever and I HAD to get it lol" I still remember when I couldnt find the kokiri sword and I went into the sacred forest meadow, beat the wolfo, with a deku stick and deku nuts lol, and thought the sword was on the teleport pad in front of the Forest Temple. Now I know I seem stupid, but you gotta admit, me being nine, and getting through the Lost Woods, and the SFM, without a sword, is pretty darn good. I also remember not beating it until 3 years later cause I was afraid of the Beamos in Dodongos Cavern, the Redeads, so it took me a year to beat BoW, and Shadow Temple, I even skipped the Shadow Temple and beat the Spirit Temple first lol. So ya OoT left me with fond memories...but it also scared me as a child so I think more fond memories of OoA and OoS.

ALttP, I borrowed from my aunt and me and my sister would play it all the time until we had to return it, a friend loaned it to me (along with Mario RPG and Super Metroid) back in like 5th grade and here it is over 10 years later and I still have them

ThePowerOfOne

Ocarina of Time, also the first video game I ever played.

SkyMyl

LttP. Back when LttP was old, and OoT was around the corner. I remember when I used to throw the controller at the wall in frustration from Death Mountain! But my true Zelda experience came when I played MM.

...good times, good times.

I love MM!, I remember my parents renting it when I had my tonsels out. I loved the game so much, I could never buy it though, until like 2 years later when my Mom got it for me used, I was so happy lol, But i only beat it a little over a year ago. I just didnt have the patience or time to get through the Great Bay Temple.

Probably Ocarina of Time.
I would never do anything though. I would just play to mess around in the forest.
The farthest I would ever go was into that creepy tree.

Triforceman22

The first Zelda.
I'm hardcore. XD

Then ALTTP then OoT then MM... XD

Ocarina of Time was the first one I played, but I only played it whenever I went to my cousin's house; the first one I owned was Wind Waker.

Redmoon

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening when I was 7 or 8.

Nancysing

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past & Four Swords. (I haven't played any others.)
I've had it since middle school, for my GBA: SP, and I still can't beat it!
Kyou no Wanko is the best news segment ever!
Look, it's DS-tan!

PsychoYoshi

Ocarina of Time was the first one that I distinctly remember, though I might have played A Link to the Past very briefly when I was very young.

THEEVILSPERKY

I MAY have played the original first but I don't remember.  If it wasn't the NES one then it would definitely have to have been LTTP which I hold very fond memories of.  What an amazing game.
NES, SNES, N64, GCN (Jet Black), PQ (JPN), Wii, GBP (Clear), GBC (Green x2), GBASP (x2 Cobalt, x1 NES), DSLite (Black), SG3, SDC (x1 BIG, x1 Clear black top, solid grey/beige bottom), PS (x2), PS2 (Slim, Silver), PS3 (NTSC 60GB upgraded to 500GB), PSP 2000 (Silver, 4GB), XBox360 Elite

I think it was A Link to the Past. Took me forever to beat that. I wonder why, too. It doesn't seem very hard anymore.
