I never said it wouldn't bring people here.  However, I doubt anyone it did bring here would stay very long.  Most advertising ventures of that nature bring users to a site, however if there isn't a major incentive to stay at a site, then it's useless, since they join, look around for a bit and then leave again.  For a site to succeed, you need to have a hook, which currently, we don't have much of.
