Playing melee with some friends earlier tonight and didn't realize until then, just how much I missed Mewtwo being in smash brothers. He would have been perfect in brawl with what I saw. I don't know what Sakurai was thinking to get rid of him. Discuss Mewtwo and what he could have been had Sakurai saw it fit.
...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...

Playat

Well if Mewtwo was in brawl, most of his movesets would been buffed much.

His final smash would be so asweome, Psychic Blast

I Love Mew Two in SSBM! He was awesome.
His attacks and transportation was unlike anybody elses.
I guess they put him in SSBM at the time cause he was mostly popular/mysterious...
SSBB has Lucario... for some odd reason...
Don't even tell me it was just because of the Movie...cause if so... "LAME!"

I never played Mew Two in serious matches cause he always seemed to be at a speed disadvantage and not very powerful in some aspects, but he was still COOL to use.

I think Pichu was a little better than him. :D

But in some ways, I miss Mewtwo, your lack of power was VERY well known.

Macawmoses

He'd need to retain his god amazing grabs, and he would destroy. Plus, his floatiness made him unique....but his grabs set him apart from the rest. In fact, he is one of my favorites. :(

HTA!

Only thing I miss are his tilts and cool Side/down specials.
I can think of one pro in particular who would like him back too.  ::)

Taj. I was inspired to make this thread by watching his vid.

Taj doesn't play Brawl, it wouldn't matter to him.

Yep. Mewtwo was a very unique character back then.
(With a very unique way of being unlocked) >_>

Everything about him was awesome, except one of his moves.
And by that I mean his D-air. Perfect accuracy is needed if you wish to land a direct hit.
That's the only thing to me about him that brings him down.
It gives me difficult times when I want to spike down opponents.

You're quite wrong, all his attacks were horrible and didn't had great knockback save for his grabs.

Well, semi-sorta.
He was still a great addition to the game.

It keeps freezing at certain points, but it's still a good vid.

Not a bad Mewtwo user.
Were the comps lvl 9 or just any level.
