The DS has replaced the GBA in total sales.

Remember the old classics, let them live on, for the GBA has lost it's rank as number 1 to the DS.
The DS has 84 million sales, and the GBA has 81 million.

Both the GBA and DS were those systems that I couldn't stand not having when they launched. My SP was absolutely everywhere I went. Until I sold it to my friend for 70 bucks, but I just got another off ebay last week. ::)

The Game Boy Pocket.
Put it in your back pocket.
Sit down and it breaks.

How much?

The GBA and DS were awesome systems. The DS, however, appeals to more people.

Who could forget the awesome game, Golden Sun?

I still have an original GBA, so i'm happy to look at it every now and then, and still use it.

Doodle

The DS and the GBA are both pretty cool.
I still have my GBA. :)
YEAH

Jono2

the original GBA is better for speedrunning imho.  buttons are in a better setup (the B and A buttons are swapped on the DS).

i have an original GBA, light blue/purple (whatever you would call it, but its see-through but not white).

I have a GBASP and a Micro...long since lost my Glacier GBA.  I also stupidly sold my GBC and gave away my GBP.  Ah well, the GBASP at least plays the old ones...

Really, the GBA could've kept going if they brought bit Generations to the US.  Those games were already in English and were rated by the ESRB.  There is absolutely no reason why they shouldn't have been brought here.  Stupid.

Nintendo pretty much refused to support the GBA after 2005, which is sad because some of the GBA's best games were its last.
(MOTHER 3, bit Generations)

Tuppy frightens me with his knowledge of legacy technology.

Silverhawk79

I sold my original GBA, but I still have a GBA SP, so I can play all my old GB/GBC games on it.

Mutilator7

I haven't sold a single gameboy, i still have my yellow gameboy pocket, green GBC, Black GBA (w00t my favorite), and my SP and DS

The Seventh

I'm going to use my GBA SP until I can't find no lithium ion batteries to support it no more.

Pure. Raw. Fact.

WHY DID NINTY HAVE TO GIVE UP ON GBA.  They even removed GB game support in DS, and now the DS-I can't even play GBA games.

It's sad.
meh

QingXin

The DSi doesn't even have a GBA Game Pak port, so the GBA might truly be gone :O :O :O

I can.

I have both collecting dust in my collection. I'm probably about half-way through the first, and i don't have much incentive to beat it right now. They're good no doubt, but its cult-following tends to...exaggerate about just how good these two games actually are.

jnfs2014

I accidentally broke my SP after no less than 1000 hours of play on it.
