So, I was at a Halloween Party last night. I left my drink. I got drugged. I drove home. I'm an idiot.

That simple. My parents stayed at home later than they were supposed to so I could go to a party. I put my drink down (as bringing it to the bathroom didn't sound appealing), it was Dr. Pepper, and when I came back, consumed it, and felt fine.

Apparently I started lashing out, and acting weird, so, I drove home (after dropping the gf off) and really felt weird. The room would spin, things were disproportioned, so on and so forth.

I went on here so I would stay awake, because falling asleep didn't sound good either (something from Health class paid off), and would talk to Sync and PY in irc, later JMV and Kaz joined in. I recall phoning the hospital, and hearing *whinewhinewhine* (to sum that up, Canada's health system sucks) I just knew I couldn't sleep.

PY was pretty dang awesome, though. He should stay on track to be a doctor :) Anyways, I stayed in irc, because my parents were gone, and I had no way to stay monitored. In the end, I slept, on the couch, and on my side. I woke up about three today, threw up, and have a headache. Joy.

So, any of you have bad party experiences?

I don't go to parties...cuz no one tells me about any ;_;

I do know what that general feeling is like though. Got a blood blister in work (dunno how, thing I caught my finger on something), felt dizzy, told my manager I didn't feel good and told him I was going in back to sit down. Went through the swinging door to the kitchen, next thing I know Eduardo and my manager are picking me up off the floor and my face feels flattened.
My face was fine, but I crushed two of my teeth, which got replaced in emergency dental procedure the next day...two root canals and two porcelean teeth later, I feel okay...

Of course, its a party. Pretty much the only place you can be loud and stupid. But you should still know to not leave your drink unattended :P

you're likely right, but due to constraints on our health system, it'd be a four month wait, in which case, the drug would be long out of my system.

you're likely right, but due to constraints on our health system, it'd be a four month wait, in which case, the drug would be long out of my system.

Wow, now I'm glad we have our system the way it is, even if you have to wait in the Emergency Room for three hours at midnight, you at least are taken care of eventually.

Just go to a pharmacy and buy the test for the drug you think you were drugged with.
