...In Japan. Yes, the PS3 and 360 versions of the game in Japan won't come out until Spring 2009 in Japan, and the Wii version won't come out until December 19th.

But don't worry fellow Americans, we get no delay for quality control, (Sega's reason for delaying the game in Japan) all versions of the game come next week.

Seriously, Sega of America? Didn't the creator of Sonic resent that he rushed Sonic 2006 to get a holiday release? So this time, he has the game delayed in Japan for quality control, and the translation team doesn't see that as a reason to fix things?

Apparently SEGA hates America as much as Nintendo does then eh?

The only thing they could really do in a mere one and a half months is maybe fix up a few glitches or put in some extra bonus content. The difference in teh games will probably be very little.
Still, you can't help but get the "Jeez here comes Sonic 06 all over again" feeling X-x;;

Based on the previous quality of past Sonic games that were rushed, probably.

Damn delays and not wanting to delay more. I say when people announce a game is being made, they don't announce the release date until it IS finished AND checked for bad glitches and crap, then they can release it a week later or so.

Besides, they are probably just taking out glitches or something.

Game still is going to be great.

Too bad the 360 version doesn't come out until the 24th, I want to see the Hedgehog Engine for myself.

The Wii version will have to suffice.

That IS a weird release pattern. Especially since the Wii/PS2 version are so different then the PS3/360 versions.
