Is the wiispeak channel compatible with any microphone?

I was wondering if the wiispeak microphone is a usb microphone or something because i can download the channel but i don't have the wiispeak microphone.

from what i know there is only one Wii micropohne. Wii Speak. and if there is another one, i don't know if you can use it for the Wii Speak Channel, for one thing you can only download the channel if you have the Wii speak microphone.

unless Nintendo gives ticket codes to other people, i don't see how you can use any other microphone than Wii Speak.

Yeah me too, i actually got a card number, but it couldn't be used in the US.
