Does the charm actually work if someone does what they're supposed to do?

From what I understand, it's easier to grow trees, you're more likely to get along with your neighbors, have better success making hybrid flowers, attract rare bugs/fish, and get rare items for cheaper.

Compound that with Feng shui, and you can basically have a perfect town for a month.

Apparently all that stuff IS true, but you have to get someone else to get your charm/perform the action, and it randomly affects either person.

Only if you send a thoughtful letter from my post office. XD
