NSFCD Brawl Ladder V2

Welcome to NSFCD's Brawl ladder v2. This is a competitive ladder where Brawlers will compete to be ranked number one out of the rest of Super Smash Bros. board.

Rules of the ladder

• A person who is on the ladder may challenge the two spots ahead of them. A person off the ladder may challenge the three spots ahead of them.
• You can not decline to a challenge, it will result in a automatic victory for the challenger.
  
• If a challenger of a spot loses to the current spot holder, the spot holder keeps the spot. If the spot holder loses, the challenger of the spot moves up to that spot, and the spot holder is moved down to the challenger's old spot.
• You may only challenge someone once a day. You must post in the thread about whom you're challenging and PM them as well, if you don't PM that person, the challenge is voided
• If a person is challenged that person has 3 days to respond to the match. If the person does not respond after 3 days, that person automatically loses. ACTIVITY IS KEY FOR THE LADDER.
• You may not challenge someone who has been already challenged or is currently challenging someone.
  

Rules of the matches

• All matches will be in 2 out of 3 sets.
• Each match will be 3 stocks.
• Feel free to switch characters each match.
• Before the match starts both challengers must decide whether to use a timer or not. If timer is used it must be either 7 or 8 minutes.
• On the first match the two challengers must agree on what stage they will play on, then loser of the first match picks the next stage, and if the loser of the first wins the 2nd game the winner of the first gets to choose the last stage
• Before the match starts make sure your controllers and connection both work as well as making sure there are no distractions. I will not tolerate any excuses for why you lost your match due to outside reasons.
• If a person disconnects from the match, then the person that disconnected automatically loses.
• If connection is completely horrible between the two brawlers, it can be decided to post-pone the match until connection works.
• NO ITEMS ARE ALLOWED. It takes away from the competitive play.

To avoid chat in the thread, we have a Brawl chat. Not only to avoid chat in the thread, but I can tell people in #Nsider are a bit tired of hearing about our Brawl matches or about Brawl in general. So, if you wish to chat about Brawl please do it in the chat and not in the thread. Ah, I talked with Mack and afterward I decided to make it 8, I guess I forgot to change the "You'll get 12 Strikes" to "You'll get 8 strikes.

From now on, please pm me of any mistakes you may see instead of posting the error. Thanks.
