Ugh, I hate shopping this time a year. I had a $25 gift card for anywhere (Visa gift card), and I decided to just drive around for No More Heroes (or anything that I would like, there is a sever drought of stuff I'm interested in this year).
I try Best Buy first. Starting out, their anime collection and prices are SHITE! Twenty-five bucks for Bleach: Memories of Nobody? Geez. No PS3 games I want, so I check to see if No More Heroes is there. Of course it ISN'T but there is a large selection of shovelware like carnival games and Petz! Although it was good for a laugh, it's always fun to see clueless soccermoms trying to buy games for their kids. Although it was fairly easy to spot the Wii section. If you see someone over 30 in the game section, it's the Wii area X_X;;
I try not one, but TWO gamestops next, and neither of them have it (of course). Again, more stupid parents who have no idea what a game even is and plenty of crap shovelware. At least their PS3/360 sections where nice.
Out of curiousity and pure frustration, I try Frye's next to a Wal-Mart near me. I didn't expect them to have it, but out of all the places (and an hour of driving around), they had a NEW No More Heroes for 20 bucks...
God I hate major retailers X_X;;

Wow, I got that Bleach movie for free. It was about a 30 minute torrent....

Heh, that's hilarious. Wal-Mart is the only store I know that carries new No More Heroes, and it's certainly worth the 20 bucks.

But yeah, some of these stores are hilarious. Watch people shop for an hour, and you learn a lot.

Well, technically I got it for free since I used a visa gift card from a family friend. Unfortunately I might as well have spent it because I had to buy a power adapter and a controller for the Genesis I ordered of amazon cuz the bastard didn't send any of the crap, JUST the system...  :robotangry:  :robotangry:  :robotangry:  :robotangry:

I've never heard of Frye's. And all the Wii games around here are $50, used is usually $30 at the lowest.

Wow, they sell some Wii games here for $10 just to get rid of them, even if they are movie licensed crap. The Wii section is huge, and they have everything. The only problem is that they put games BEHIND other games.

A lot of clueless parents at places like Best Buy, buying games like Sim City for their four year old. Hey, at least they pay attention to ESRB ratings.
