Question time.

We used to have a video thread, but after it pretty much died, we killed it off.

This brings up the question, can you responsibly make use of a video thread, while keeping it alive?

I think videos are great tools for discussing Meta Game, showing off, and generating discussion. However, we don't need a thread for each one, as it makes stupid discussion.

So, can you guys validate the return of a Video thread?

Frankly, the video thread didn't really die from lack of use. It's just that after Brawl came out, people would rather play it than watch videos of it.

Although I do think it could be successful if used properly. It would probably get too spammy though.

Could we post the Smasmtasm series, the Brawlgasm ones, the MARLXWIISTATION (sp?) videos or something of the sort?

It'd be asked that comedic videos wouldn't be discussed so much, as the goal of the thread is to add legitimate activity. I'd accept it, if you were also discussing Gimpyfish's latest strategy, or going over matches.
