Hello, I bring this up again: Some Brawl stages' music doesn't work, thus creating the beeping sound and freezing the game. I took away Homebrew before I was aware of this, and I couldn't get it back the last 2 times I tried.
This time, I'm wondering how I can downgrade my Wii to it's previous version (I don't remember what number it is), because I REALLY wanna fix it, but at the same time, I am lazy as hell... So before Nintendo completely makes Homebrew unobtainable, I wanna know how to downgrade my Wii, so when I stop being lazy, I will still be able to get Homebrew, and fix my stages, then get rid of Homebrew again (after I've triple checked every stage), and stop worrying.
Please help.

There is only one way that I know of. If you have a friend that has the version you want, put some file onto an SD card (Google it, it's "Extractor Plus" iirc)) which should extract OS and stuff. Once in the wii, wait at least half an hour, just to be safe (Usually only take 20 minutes.) then take it out. The program automatically boots up when it detects the SD card is in an electronic device, so it works with the Wii. If the SD card isn't clean, it dumps whatever is on it into the device. Once it's on the SD card, put it in your Wii, and it should dump the program onto your Wii.

Keep in mind that this has only been documented once, and could very easily be a hoax.

So just get some data from a friend's Wii who hasn't updated it yet? Then put that data on my Wii?
If no, please explain better.

That's exactly it.
So any data? Like maybe a channel (that I don't have)?

I'm not too sure about that, but it's worth a shot I guess.

Remember what I said before though, it could have easily been a hoax, because only one person did it successfully.
