I'm sure there's some fast food chain or grocery store that's hiring somewhere near you. Just keep searching.
Hopefully everything turns out good. :)
YEAH

You people act like working at Wal Mart is living death, and I really don't see why... I'd rather have a job at Wal Mart than have no job at all. But I have a summer job with Subway, so I'm fine for now.

low end service sector jobs are horrible... (fast food, wal-mart, department stores, etc.)
only ppl who have had them know how bad they are.
Unless it's a hundred percent need a job no one would do those jobs.

He has worked there.

Also, although retail certainly has its bad moments, I often find myself enjoying it. You just can't things too seriously.

Eh, it could be a lot worse. And you have to lower your standards. If you go into a job like Subway with a smile on your face and not overly high expectations, you'll find it's pretty fun work. Even retail isn't too bad at all.

However, it does depend on your tastes. Being that you have to wait until fall, I'd suggest City Crew or maintenance. Painting lines on highways begins soonish, grating and removing snow, river watch and maintenance, etc. Of course, that means you need to be someone like me that enjoys that work. Pays well.

To be fair, I worked in the bakery, but it was still kind of fun. Seriously, 3 generations of my family has worked at Wal Mart, and only my grandmother had a problem with them... and that was because they made her smile at work.

Anyway, like Mack said, if you really need a job, than you really can't snub an available because it's not up to your standards. My government teacher knows a woman with a masters in aeronautical engineering who's working at a gas station because that's the only job she could get. This really isn't the time to be picky...

And now, no girlfriend.

So, now what?

what did you do?
Nothing. She just doesn't know how to handle a relationship and ended it randomly after 3 and a half months. Did the same thing to her last ex but after a month.

She's obviously not mature enough to date. I wouldn't feel too bad if I were you, though it's still a bit of a letdown.

Boiler set fire, no more hot water and the house smells like oil until we get a new one. God knows when that'll be. I'm intercourse ing freezing.

No more cell phone, there goes contact to most of my friends.

I can't catch a break, can I?
