So, first post on the Legacy board in a while, eh? Anyway, figured I should show my fellow NSFCDers my personal collection of Famicom games.

First off, my loose games.

Going in a clockwise direction, we have Popeye's English Game, a game designed to teach Japanese people English, F1 Race, an early Famicom title that surprisingly never left Japan, and the classic Gradius by Konami.

Next up, a pirated version of a semi-popular game based on the Pa-Man anime.

Even has instructions, but the word for word copy of the Sega Genesis warning label makes it painfully obvious that this is a pirate.

Finally, Family Circuit '91, a racing game made by Namco, or as the cartridge and box say, "Namcot".

My most complete Famicom game, it has the instructions, all the original registration cards, and a set of decals.

I don't actually have a Famicom, so I use this thing that converts 60 pins to 72 pins. Some great Engrish on the back.

I plan on getting the original Goonies and maybe a Dragonball game. Do you have any foreign Nintendo games?

Unfortunately, no. I can't read Japanese (or any other language, for that matter), so I fear the story would be lost on me.

The only game that has a lot of Japanese in it is the pirated one, it has board game style boss fights like Gunstar Heroes.

I don't know Japanese yet, so I don't import games.  Plus, I don't have the Famicom or Super Famicom. D=

I envy that Game Converter...

Neither do I.

Cost $15 at a store. A lot cheaper than spending $80 on a Famicom.

I'll update this thread whenever I get a new Famicom/Super Famicom game.

Oh, and I also have MOTHER 2, just forgot to post a pic.

I have Mother... and Mother 3 for you-know-what... but otherwise, no.

Hm, an actual Mother Famicom cart or that USA reproduction?

I have bit Generations: dotstream for the GBA and the KORG DS-10 Synthesizer.

Both of those games happen to be in English >.>

I sadly don't have any foreign legacy games :(

I don't blame you, the game is REALLY hard to play in Japanese if you don't know it.

Heck, the entire series is. I imported Mother 2 thinking it would be a cheap alternative to EarthBound that would be easy to tackle with a basic translation guide, but it's not. I can barely get to the meteor.

Sending payment today for a new Famicom game, and it cost me a little bit of cash. Look forward to it in a week or two.

Man, the games are hard enough in ENGLISH!

And wait, you beat earthbound and STILL had trouble with Mother 2? How does that work?

It was about a month between me beating EarthBound and getting Mother 2, and I had only remembered the location of things in the menu, plus I couldn't tell what items I was getting.

Man, even the stores around here have imports. I might snag a few this weekend, I have another one coming in special order from Japan.

Yes, yes I am.  8)

Also known as the American Midwest, practically everyone around here owns/has owned a classic system.

Except for the TurboGrafx-16 apparently. Only seen its games for sale here once, and never a system.

Apparently, that's not true here in Wisconsin. :(
