New Super Famicom game today, my first complete one.

A skiing game. That's pretty much all there is to say about it. Fun though.

Do you have Magical Pop'n?
Nope, but the same developer that made it apparently made the game I got today.

I'll get it eventually, it might be a bit hard to find. The only copy on eBay right now is $240, but I'm thinking that's overpriced.

Dammit, I can never seem to get that game. >_>

Those kinds of games are just so well known that they cost a lot.

Oh, and I had some guy on another forum translate the pirate. It apparently translates to "Chāorén Xiǎodīngdāng", meaning "Superman Little Dingdong."  :D

"Chāorén Xiǎodīngdāng" is oddly enough the name of Doraemon in China. So there's some confusion on what they meant. I'm thinking that since the game has Pa-Man in it, they just decided to put Doraemon's name on it but not his pictures because Doraemon was more popular.

Nope. I don't know any Japanese, or any foreign language.
The closest thing I have to a foreign game is Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels...on my Super Mario All-Stars game. :P
YEAH

New Famicom game today, one of my personal favorites.  :)

This is Choujin Sentai Jetman, an awesome platformer starring what we call the Power Rangers. I would describe it as a mix of Batman and Ninja Gaiden, except a lot easier. Boss fights are fought in mechs and are different than normal gameplay.

The only hard part of the game is the almost unfairly difficult final boss fight, the rest is a breeze. Still, definitely one of my favorite 8-bit games I own.

Crap, still can't beat the final boss. >_>

Oh, and I'll be getting a find so big within a few days that I'm questioning whether to put it here or in Power On.

Big thing today, none other than the legendary FAMICOM DISK SYSTEM.

Yes, it is a blurry picture.

So glad I didn't spend a small fortune importing this thing from Japan, found it from a USA seller.  :)

No pictures today, but I got two games.

Family Stadium '87- Also known as R.B.I Baseball in the USA. My personal favorite NES Baseball game.

Ultraman: Kaijuu Teikoku no Gyakkushuu/Mahjong- My first Famicom Disk System game, and a slight disappointment. There was a downside to being able to rewrite these disks. Mostly that you never know what you are going to get when you buy a game online. This turned out the be Mahjong on one side and a useless side on the other since Ultraman uses both sides of the disk. I'm going to try to get a refund or something.

At least I know my Disk System works....
