What's so bad about Brawl, exactly? I liked it, though my opinion is weird and shifty, and is thus invalid.

I like all 3 smashes the same.

I dont really care if theres less advanced stuff in one or the other or if ones faster. makes no difference as long as I have fun which i do in all 3.
Probably because you sucked.

Anyways, no I really thought Brawl sucked (not just compared to Melee). It got so boring due to the fact that you can just camp and spam to win. And of course the online was indeed the worst online in history.

1.  I repeat, "Melee didn't even have online", so while you can easily say its online sucks compared to... well, any other game really... you can't say the online makes it worse that its prequels.  Adding optional features can't make a sequel worse; only taking stuff away does that (example:  Brawl took away Melee's speed, certain mini-games, competitive techniques, Mewtwo, etc.).
2.  So what if you can win by camping and spamming?  If you CHOOSE to camp and spam to win, then isn't that your own fault?  When I play, I like taking advantage of what the game has, running all around and using all kinds of moves and items.  Just because YOUR method of play is boring doesn't mean the game itself is boring.  I mean, you could say any game is boring if all you due during the match is camp, OR you could actually attempt to have fun.  It's a game, not a movie, so it's not going to get any more fun if you don't try to make it.

this isn't even opinon, it's fact X_X;;
Or isn't even a fact but an opinion. (X_X);
yeah right its def. a fact. Brawl sucks so much ass its not even debatable.
Brawl's not bad, just different. It's still fun, but I prefer Melee.
All 3 games have their good and bad points.

It doesn't suck...Melee is just so much better that it makes Brawl look bad.
Although most of that has to deal with the online being the worst online in the history of everything...
But...Melee doesn't even have online...
lol

ok well if you play with items then there isn't any point in arguing with you since you play casual and I didn't.

Yesterday, sort of. I was on the verge of crying. Why? I got into an argument with a couple other people from #nsider and it got me really upset. I didn't really cry much though

That might explain why I didn't get very hooked on it at all...

I was expecting the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it had to be ruined.

I'm fine with Brawl. I kind of like it better than Brawl...

Yeah....this isn't true. Your bias against Brawl is sickening. I don't like the game more than Melee but it isn't an awful game.

People were just expecting Brawl to be Melee 2.0 and they didn't get what they desired in the end. Boohoo.

While most people here hate how Brawl "took away Melee's speed," I'm glad Brawl went back to the roots of the series--Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64.  SSB 64 is the funness installment of the series.

Eizweir

In Brawl+, MK's uair, uair, uair, uair, Shuttle Loop is a true combo, NO thank you.

Plus, if people treated this like a new game, instead of just maybe something comparable to an expansion pack of a game, it wouldn't be that bad.  Melee was a whole lot different from SSb64, Brawl is a lot different than Melee.

Holy crap i didn't know this was such a debatable topic, i was just showing what teh hackers were doing right now. I think brawl is good, i think melee is good, and smash 64 ftw. And if brawl is so bad then... i'll just stop, you people just go play melee or whatever

Shaleblade

Only worth it if Mewtwo comes back  D=.
Lucario is nothing compared to him.

oh wow did I just completely troll there? Well, I doubt anyone will disagree.

I agree with you. Mewtwo at least holds some importance in the series, while Lucario is just a run of the mill fighting type only famous because the japanese like him for no apparent reason (just like Jigglypuff.)

But I will reiterate so no one confuses it, Brawl is a good game, just not as close to Melee's greatness (mostly cuz of annoying stages and terrible character balancing)

Mutilator7

Actually, I know have learned that these series of brawl hacks aren't necessarily melee2.0 but instead supposed to fix things in brawl that irked other people. Such as tripping, and that's why a no tripping code is one of the many one used in SuperSmashBros Brawl+ (that's what it's called). Items still make you trip it's just the chance factor of tripping when running/dashing is 0.
