Melee on Brawl?

Well i'm sure you're all aware of the hacking of brawl and stuff. Well now the hackers are thinking, "if we can change brawl, why not make it like melee?". And that's exactly what they're doing, new codes are out to alter hitstun, L-Cancelling, and  make air dodging like melee. Here is a vid showing that in action http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOl-nNsqLc4&feature=channel_page. What do you think? Is brawl good like it is, or should it be more like melee? I personally think brawl will never be what melee is and hacking won't change that. Discuss.

brawl's pacing is completely different from Melee's.  adding in L-cancelling won't change that.

Via hack? No. Brawl is entirely different in terms of mechanics. I think changing that completely destroys the elements.

Now, if in game there were a "retro" and "modern" option, with default gravity, etc. as options...sure, I'd play retro any day.

I personally like the 3 Smashes because each game has its own techniques, characters, and physics unique to the game. If you get bored of one, switch to another. This is kind of killing the idea. If you want Melee, play Melee.

It doesn't suck...Melee is just so much better that it makes Brawl look bad.
Although most of that has to deal with the online being the worst online in the history of everything...

It doesn't suck...Melee is just so much better that it makes Brawl look bad.

It's opinion. Anything being better than something is an opinion if you can't measure it in some way.

I would still say I like Melee a little better, but they're both fine.

I dont really care if theres less advanced stuff in one or the other or if ones faster. makes no difference as long as I have fun which i do in all 3.

Anyways, no I really thought Brawl sucked (not just compared to Melee). It got so boring due to the fact that you can just camp and spam to win. And of course the online was indeed the worst online in history.
