PS3 Fanboys ruined Killzone 2 for me.

I WAS excited to play this game, but thanks to the 10-year-olds on Youtube, I have ZERO excitement.
See, while I was on, I said it has a chance at GOTY, but some other game might take it.
And what happens? I GET FLAMED.
This is so dumb. They are hyping it like it's the greatest of all time.
Discuss.

Yeah that is what happened that is for sure. PS3 fanboys were hyping it up to be the next big revolutionary FPS, but in the end it just ended up being another good shooter that uses all the base gameplay elements Halo did when it revolutionized FPS games back in 2001. It is never good to build hype since it will only lead to disappointment, just look at Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Grand Theft Auto IV for crying out loud. Let the game come out and judge it then, never set expectations and judge it before it even comes out.
