"Humans are stupid. Naturally, I live with stupid people". I would say that seems like a pompous and arrogant comment. Even if you don't think you are important, you still come across as thinking you are more valuable then you actually are. Also, use a dictionary, dumbass. If you don't know what self-important means just search for its meaning. It doesn't mean that you think you are important, but that you think you are unrealistically important.
