What do you usually do for Bells?
Besides the normal fossil hunting, fishing, and bug catching, I plant GIANT orchards of foreign fruit, then sell them. It's not that special, but I made 100,000 Bells today! And I was mostly using the fruit to plant more trees. It takes awhile to pick all that fruit, though.
YEAH

Fruits are probably the most common way to make money. I only have 1 foreign fruit though.  D=
Flea Markets are the awesome. Catch Tunas and other fish that sell well and you can pretty much make double the profit on a Flea Market day.  ^_^

I have two foreign fruits in my town, and about ten trees.

Judging on how much time I have to play and what other items I sell, I generally can get $15,000 Bells on a bad day and up to $30,000 if I catch a lot of fish.

I need to bury more fruit, it's just so hard to find a place where you know it will bloom. Even with the golden shovel, some of them wither.

The golden shovel doesn't have any affect on planting trees.
I usually cut down a tree and plant the fruit in its place. It always works for me, but I've heard others say it still doesn't work...

I have a ton of bells and access to the moon.  I can buy moons for 32,000 bells a moon and sell them on Nookbay.  If I could find the space wallpaper and flooring, I could sell the entire set.
