According to my friends that is (excluding one), I tell 'em about what games I play and they're all "Dude, why do you play E games? They're boring".
Me: "So a game is only fun if it has blood and shooting?"
Them: "Yeah. E games are for kids"

Why do many people only like games like that? To me, it seems like those games barely have a (good) storyline and seems like you do the same thing through the whole game. "Oooh a zombie! *slight turn* *press shooting button* YAY! Ohh another *turn more* *press shooting button more*" Yeah, a lot of fun that seems. Sure there's more to it than that, but even adding a little bit on, it's still the same crap throughout the whole game.

Are you hating on Resident Evil? I might have to murder you.

Well, M rated games can be fun.
But I play E games and T games.

But yeah, it doe seem like M rated games are the only games that are "cool."
YEAH

The same could be said of all games. Most games feature repetitive gameplay. One thing I agree with is the lame storylines, however. I have yet to see a shooter with a deep and immersive plot.

Wow.  They need to expand their horizons.

I've played many E and T rated games, and found them just as fun as Halo, CoD, and whatever else you can think of that's rated M.

Some people are only turned on by the fact that guns and blood are in the game.
Some people don't want to play games intended for everyone.

Let them do what they want, even if they have a closed mind. Their loss. Tell your friend to play Fallout 3.

Actually I did, they haven't played it yet though, kinda doubt they will now.

Your friends are idiots. Some of the greatest games of all time are rated E, and many of the worst ones ever made were rated M. That's not to say all E games are inherently good and all M games are inherently bad, my point is that rating does not determine whether a game is cool or not. Quality does.
"I like cigarettes, Mrs. Taggart. I like to think of fire held in a man's hand. Fire, a dangerous force, tamed at his fingertips. I often wonder about the hours when a man sits alone, watching the smoke of a cigarette, thinking. I wonder what great things have come from such hours. When a man thinks, there is a spot of fire alive in his mind-and it is proper that he should have the burning point of a cigarette as his one expression..."

In my opinion, the rating on a game doesn't really matter so long as it's fun.

Most of the games I own aren't even rated M, and I can go back and play most of them anytime I want and have the same amount of fun the first time I played them.  For FPS games it's not as much fun the second time around.

Captain Justice

well now most E rated games suck since they are all watered down casual poop made by Ninty. But in the old days Nintendo made good E games.

Yesterday, sort of. I was on the verge of crying. Why? I got into an argument with a couple other people from #nsider and it got me really upset. I didn't really cry much though
