Let's compare how credible you sound saying things like "one of the Temples has like an engraving" and "there was originally 13 signs" against how credible you would sound without them.

We know with some amount of certainty that the center of our galaxy is a black hole...

But besides right now I have heard no news about getting sucked into a "dark rift". D:

If the event horizon of this black hole was large enough that we will be sucked into it in a few years we would have heard much more about it by now, it would be a big motherintercourse ing black hole.
We might have even started to notice the disappearance of starlight, unless there are other object in the way.

No, nothing will happen on 2012, scientific or mystical.
I'm more worried about Obama screwing the Constitution.

Well yeah, the black hole is too far away. And you don't really see disappearance of starlight because from our point of view, there are no stars in the area. That's why there seems to be a rift in the galaxy. And black holes can do much more than suck you up to kill you or whatever it does.


Something else that I failed to point out. If something actually happened(for whatever reason I hope there is something) on 2012, it may not be the end of the world and all life, just something that'll change how we live forever. Like supposed the poles did move, and they tipped sideways, after the destruction from the shift, we would probably have to change how we live since day and night would be a year long.

The magnetic poles would shift, meaning all compasses would be wrong and electronics wouldn't work properly.

I doubt that we would be thrown off of our orbit, and its unlikely that the rotational motion of the planet + its axis would be messed with sine what we do on the surface has little to no effect on a system without outside friction.

Black holes aren't mystical rifts with unknown powers.
If what we know is true, then lining up with a black hole does nothing. :|
They may have huge gravitational pull but their are absolute limits, and if we aren't in the gravitational pull by now I doubt 3 more years are going to do it.

I never said anything about being thrown off orbit....and black holes do more than just suck things, they can "regurgitate" or "burp" which is very deadly and there are plenty of black holes in "shooting" distance of us....
