Another stupid corporate holiday that serves no purpose other than to get Hallmark more money. Oh well, I guess it worked since I got a card.
Mother's day is the only pointless holiday I'm willing to put up with, since being a parent is such a thankless job. Oh, and in case youre wondering my dad hates father's day for the same reasons I do. It's a pointless holiday with dumb corporate beginnings.

All of my mom's side of the family got together at my grandma's house and we boiled crawfish.  It was really nice.

Even I find that holiday pointless.
The only ones I think are even worth doing are ones like Yom Kippur where the point of the day is to reflect upon what you did right and what you did wrong and how you should better yourself by learning from past experiences. (I'm using Yom Kippur as the example since its the one I'm obviously most experienced with).
Everything else is inherently pointless. The bigger it is, the more pointless it's become (Xmas and New Year's being the biggest culprits).
The only one I agree with is Holloween, because it never had much a point to begin with (in terms of it's modern day usage). It's just meant to be a night of fun, so I can let it slide to some extent.
