The graphics do look off, yes, but it's not horrendous. I've seen much worse. What I look for in the Kingdom Hearts games are gameplay; that's why I didn't like Chain of Memories that much.

Seeing worse doesn't change the fact that the game looks disgusting. Its a matter of opinion though.

I really hope that the final boss is a Disney character, because if there's not, it will just feel like your playing another Square game.

And that is a bad thing....how again?

Disney characters are lame.

It's not neccisarily a bad thing, I just want something different.

When has a kingdom hearts game ended with a Disney character boss fight?

Never.

Oh, and it amazes me that the DS can handle the cutscenes at the PS2's level. It's like I'm playing another secret mode. :)

Lies. Maleficent is my second favorite villain of all time. She can turn into a intercourse ing dragon.

Also, I highly doubt that we'll see a Disney character final boss.
Holy crap all my sigs were always poop. Best leave this space alone.

I thought the graphics look pretty good, in terms of 3D DS games, that is.  Especially the cutscenes, which look amazing.  Oh, and here's the cover art!

Anyway, here's some bonus info.  I don't talk about the story, just some different features which you may want to know, but just in case, I put it in spoilers.
-Multiplayer Missions will have 19 playable characters, including all of Organization XIII, the fourteenth member Xion, Riku and King Mickey (who are both in the story, though not as playable), and Sora, Donald, and Goofy just for fun's sake.
-With the exception of the Moogles, who are outfitted in Organization XIII cloaks, there will be NO Final Fantasy characters in the game.
-There are NO new worlds, just a combination of worlds (both original and disney) from KH1 and KH2.
-There's no Magic meter.  Rather, you simply pick which 3 of your spells you want to use in the mission, and stick with those for the whole level (I assume they are unlimited).  Also, the different power levels, such as Fira and Firaga, are physically different spells, not just different strengths of the same thing.
-There's also no special meter for Drives or Limits or whatever.  Instead, you are able to use a special attack called a Limit Break when your health meter gets down into the yellow, and then a stronger one when it gets into the red; this move will be based on the user's Element, such as Roxas having Light and Xigbar having Space.
-Just like how Sora, Donald, and Goofy got different Keyblades, Staffs, and Shields in their games, each Organization member can get different kinds of their weapons.
All of this was found on the Kingdom Hearts Wikia thanks to translators who got the already released Japanese version.  You can check it out if you want, but I warn you, they spoil the story as well as giving these cool details.

Thanks for the information, Smash. Getting excited; according to E3, we have about three and a half months left to get the game. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is now due out in North America for September 29th, 2009.

Select "Info", and you have proof of the date given. Not as flashy as the Japanese site, but eh, at least it's something.

Saw some gameplay. Unfortunately my DS was stolen but I'm thinking that I'm going to buy another one for this and Fire Emblem. Maybe go ahead and get a DSi.

But this does look fun. I totally curious about Xion. There are only a few name possibilities.

New magic system in the game (mentioned in my previous spoiler box, but that one was wrong; here's the real one).

Apparently, there's no meter.  Instead, each spell has it's own counter (the gameplay vid I saw had 5 each), and so you can only use each one a certain number of times per mission.

I was thinking about this and wouldn't Riku/Riku-Ansem be the Final Boss? That is who Roxas fought and Riku beat him by turning into Ansem who was in his heart.

Sorry, I just played through 1 and 2 again for the last few days ;D (Other)Ansem Reports are really good.
Yes your're right, Riku Ansem is the final boss. You fight him in deep dive(The place that looks like a downtown, with the giant building in the middle).

I know this because some idiot who imported it, forgot to put spoiler warnings in his post on gamefaqs...so the game's spoiled for me, months before I'll even own it.
You've got pre-release replay, too?  I'm currently taking turns trying to beat KHII on Proud mode (normal mode the first time I beat it) and Re:Chain of Memories for the first time (stopped playing for a while when I got stuck on Larxene, but I beat her).

Right now I'm stuck on Xaldin in KHII.  He's freakin hard; thankfully, he's a fun, challenging hard, not an annoying, throw the controller at the screen hard (like Larxene!!).

Edit:  I just beat Xaldin for the first time!  (my friend beat him for me back when I was a noob).  Thank you, King Mickey...
