no... things are all well down at the works don't want to upset the natural order...

Macawmoses

Yeah...no.

I intend to have little offspring one day. Plus, the thought of some guy hacking at me with a knife is something I'd prefer to see in Horror Movies and video games.

In the sense of losing fertility, yeah, I'll get something a little like it. :3

Beatnik

I'm actually going to talk to my doctor about getting one, I'll explain why in my next post in this thread.

Sure. It'd make masturbation so much easier.
...You know you'd want it too.

Never want to have children...but I like the taste :-\

No, no, no. A vasectomy doesn't doesn't stop you from ejaculating. Semen is a mix of sperm and other liquids that your body produces outside of the testes, so all a vasectomy does is take the sperm out. You'd just have sperm-free semen.

And about the taste thing, the difference in taste would be negligible. Anybody looking, smelling, or even tasting your semen wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless they were some kind of... semen critic?
"I like cigarettes, Mrs. Taggart. I like to think of fire held in a man's hand. Fire, a dangerous force, tamed at his fingertips. I often wonder about the hours when a man sits alone, watching the smoke of a cigarette, thinking. I wonder what great things have come from such hours. When a man thinks, there is a spot of fire alive in his mind-and it is proper that he should have the burning point of a cigarette as his one expression..."

I didn't know the first one, it's good to know. And the second one I'd rather not know.............

That's a surprise.  I thought that was the second thing you learned when you learned about vasectomies in sex ed?

Beatnik to the rescue ^^

Sex ed, actually teaching something worthwhile? No.

At least for whatever sex ed I've actually gotten, I was even able to still not know what sex actually is after being in it. It just taught things like, condoms (at the time I didn't even know what those are) aren't 100% effective and only abstinence can be relied on, to not worry if nocturnal emmisions leave some "white and sticky liquid" in your bed sheets, to not be freaked out by puberty, and to always keep one's sex organs clean.

You just need to smoke a lot of pot to get rid of your penis.

The Riddler

As far as I know, you still ejaculate, it just doesn't contain sperm.
Also, both can be undone through surgery.

Same here :p  I had to Google for it, that's how discovered porn for the second or third time.  The first time was an accident, the second was at a friend's house.

They never taught it to me in Sex Ed. I learned the possibility from Seth MacFarlane TV shows.
