Would You Ever Get A Vasectomy/Tubes Tied?

A Vasectomy, when a male loses the ability to produce sperm. Not sure, but I heard somewhere that you can now get it reversed or something.
Getting tubes tied, when something happens to a woman that prevents them from having babies (don't know much about that).
Both done through surgery.
Anyway, would you ever do either of those?
or would you have your spouse/sex partner get one? (ever, doesn't mean right away)

Well because of my sexual orientation it's kind of pointless...seeing as that most men get it  is to try not to have children.

I am not gonna have children what so ever.
I don't like sperm however, so to get my partner a Vasectomy would be good on my end. ;D
