And so, the daily service is closing in June 30. You should have received a letter through your Wii saying so.

What were your thoughts about this service? I thought it was good.

Discuss.

They're canceling it?
SSBB's online just became slightly worse. :\

didn't think that was possible.

Hooray Nintendo being super lazy. Don't have to monitor user feedback, because they don't allow that. Don't have to worry about letting people download stuff, since they just cancelled it. I wouldn't be surprised if the servers randomly crash because of improper maintenance

Wow, that is just hard to believe.
...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...

I saw the message on my Wii.

...it's only been one year. ONE FREAKING YEAR, and they're going to cancel it now. Then again, I activated it but never really used it.

There was a daily vault data in brawl?

Where were you ALL this time? Playing matches with Ganondorf endlessly? :P

I didn't really use it anyway.  But the stupid light coming from my wii woke me up in the middle of the night.  Expecting to at least get something good like a message from a friend, I get this instead and have to go back to sleep.  :P

that always happens to me whenever anything is sent. It'd be really nice if Nintendo would give use the option to turn that light off. At least I don't get messages often, most of my gaming stuff goes on the PS3, since ya know, it actually has internet gaming X_X;;

You 2 DO know you can change how bright the light is, right?

And to shadowmarioguy, that only happens when someone that isn't Nintendo itself sends you data.

...Oh, you mean the message they sent. I see.

That "some time ago" must have been 1 year and 2 months ago. ;D J/K.

Hey ur proably right. If it would've given us some useful downloadable stuff like...I don't know...new characters, musics, etc then it could've lasted a while

I'm pretty sure you can turn that glowing off in the system settings.
YEAH
