Maybe we're just overreacting to her sword-like looks o.o
And I can tell it's from WW with the art style, but I don't remember seeing her, when did you see her?
I think you saw her inside the rock wall of Mother & Child Isles. You know, the one where you have to warp in using the Ballad of Gales.

Ah yes, I remember that place... But I still don't remember the fairy... DAMMIT! WHY DOESN'T ANY OF MY FRIENDS HAVE THE GAME?! D=

It was the fairy you got Fire and Ice arrows from.

Wait a minute guys... if that is an older fairy queen... could this possibly be an older, non-cel-shaded WW Link?!  It would be sweet if it was; keep up the same story line with New Hyrule (which is in Spirit Tracks), only now you can explore this new land in a more realistic, older environment.

Ayes or Nays to this idea?

You had to ride a vortex into the center of an island that was otherwise inaccessible I believe.

I call me (Nay *lol*)

In my own opinion *<-----!!!* that is a really dumb idea. First off, PH and Spirit Tracks are continuations of the WW storyline. Besides, that also means a sudden graphics change in a sub series that has revolved around the cel shading look. Not saying they couldn't do that, but it'd be really weird to suddenly change like that.
Finally, stuff has looked similar to other stuff before in zelda games.

Your bets are sealed. Should you be wrong, a donation best be in NSFCD's paypal within a day. Otherwise banned.

And yeah, I just got you an early pic. Don't whine about it o.o

Too bad i'm poor, and don't have a paypal account.

Super

It may be a departure from tradition, but then again, the latest Zelda games haven't been so great.

I'd like to see Link with a badass hand cannon or something.

Yesm I can see it already: Link's new secret, ultimate weapon is the legendary
blunderbuss of Kaptain K. Rool.
It's possible that she's a fairy and great sword. She could be called the great fairy sword.

Anyway, I'm not too excited until they release more details, and even then games have been hyperhyped these days.

JrDude

You guys overthink, it's most likely not the same fairy, but a fairy of the same species.

Um, I'll be the first to point out the shield.

It's much different than any shield we've seen so far. It's metallic, yet not a Hylian Shield. It doesn't look much like a mirror shield either. Looks like its shape is a circle.

Also, I like WW link best. I just don't like the DS games D=

Yeah, I have a feeling that she is your sword, and that shield doesn't look like a normal Hylian one either....

Or not.

apparentley Nintendo confirmed that the fairy behind Link IS the spirit of the master sword.

I mean come on. It was so obvious.
