Fortuantely, it was only in a low speed, parking lot maneuver.

On a day like today, it's rainy, wet, which can discolor cement, as all of you have experienced.

That fooled mom today.  While in the durango, she was turning around, right past a car.  The optical illusion fooled her, making her 1. believe it was not as large as it was and 2. the car made her misjudge where the light pole was anyway.

Well, she bumped the front passenger headlight.  trying to keep the light in, she cut her hand on accident (not majorly or anything...).  She nearly bawled for 10 minutes over it once she got home...

Here's the pics:

^It looks sorta like the car's about to cry here...

^If you look closely enough, it was obviously a error in judgement, in a low speed turn.  See the wheel?  Obvious proof.

^the crushing of the front bumper deformed the middle of it.

Cost (after insurance) is 500 dollars.

It's saddening, huh?

It's sad that I actually thought that you were going to be in Cap locks and sad and yelling about how you need to hurry to the hospital or you were.

You, my good sir, are a meanie.

Oh Vesperia, never change... never change

You, are a sadistic bastard :P

Maybe I shouldn't have used THAT as a title...

But, it's teh truth... she was in an accident.  Maybe not a severe one, but still, an accident.

My mom was rearended by someone going forty. Her car was totalled and it was a month ago. She didn't cry for ten minutes either.

O_o  A car is more than a means of transportation...  it's your FRIEND.

I wonder what rental car we'll get... after all, it's dodge, so maybe we might get a 09 ram 1500 as a rental :O *acts hyper and giddy*

I've been driving with my mom and while at a dead stop while waiting for some people to cross, some guy going around 50mph hit the back of us, sending us into oncoming traffic in the other lane. You don't hear us crying over it.

If a car hit our durango rear end, it'd be their car intercourse ed up the, er (I wanted to say ass), Mouth?  per se, since we have a tow hitch on the rear.

Plus they'd be hitting something heavy.  So, they'd have most of the damage, and we'd get a settlement.

Which is why I'm contemplating getting a tow hitch for the elantra when I get it for that purpose... scaring people from hitting the rear end >:D

Light poles...my sworn enemy. I caused about $500 worth of damage on a light pole.
...On the side of the car. I was backing out and the angle was intercourse ed up, so CRUNCH.

Odd, same cost for hitting a light pole as my mom...

Yeah, thankfully there's a good frame and separate engine bay sheet metal, so nothing major was harmed.

Except you can't turn left w/o scraping the left tire now...

Only thing that happened to my car is that the door was a tiny bit harder to open, but it looked pretty ugly.
