Not sure why we don't have a topic on this yet.

If you're one of the few people (such as myself) to have gotten past the kiddy look of Drawn to Life, and actually picked up Lock's Quest, then this game is for you. And it's for everyone else in the world too.

Basically, it's a series of hundreds of levels to complete any way you please. Want to rescue a cat by climbing a ladder? Write the word ladder, and it'll appear. Want to unleash a horde of zombies? Well, add a man where a zombie is present, and they'll multiply.

The gist is - any word you write (that isn't an adjective, proper noun, really religious, offensive, etc) will appear in game. Ladder. Zombie. God. Fire truck. Cerberus. Dragon. Sword. Egg. The list goes on.

Scribblenauts picked up a ton of "Best of E3" awards, and looks amazing. What are your thoughts on it?

Well, I now want this.

I absolutely cannot wait for this game. There are a few proper nouns, mainly historical figures.

My favorite however, is when you spawn a Kraken and God. There truly is anything in this game, even internet memes.

Yes, but they just threw those in there for the fun of it. Obviously George Bush would not fit in. And yeah, Keyboard Cat. :D

@Lotos: yay

Doesn't come out until the Fall, though.

That's fine, I might be actually able to afford it then.

Maybe.

I'll be a poor college student at that point ;w;

Nonsense. You can live with your parents part time and work at pizza hut!

But yeah, I can't imagine it selling well due to the kiddy looks, so it'll likely drop fast.

Any game with the suffix -nauts is destined to sell horribly.

Why haven't I heard of this sooner? Looks awesome.

I remember reading on Kotaku that a five of them researched for six months (numbers may be mixed up), finding as many objects as they could from encyclopedias and Wikipedia.  I think it said they came up with over 10k things?  Definitely worth the $35 with that effort.
