Do it. Then go out and turn around three times, and then spit.

Saying "Macbeth" is known bad luck in theatres, and the like. In fact, my school was careful to always say the Scottish Play during our performance this year, and I was a front runner in it.

I also have issues with cracks. I obsessively step over them - not out of superstition, per se, but more or less an obsessive compulsive action.

Anywho, do you have any superstitions that are either amusing (good luck charms) or debilitating (staying in bed on Friday the 13th)?

I hate people that won't step under a ladder...

I remember learning about that in English this year.  Also a theme of the play was "power corrupts".  Was that why you chose the name?
