"The system files are corrupted.
Please refer to the Wii Operations Manual
for help troubleshooting"

Help. Manual didn't help. Techsider didn't help. Thus, it's up to you.

SkyMyl

Help me too, please. I've gotten this message seven times now.

HTA!

RRoD Wii Style.
No idea, but calling tech support would probably alleviate the problem.

They want me to send the intercourse er in.

Nayrman

You could reformat your Wii, but that'll delete the memory thus defeating the purpose.
That's the only solution I could think of.

I can't even get in to do that. It's right when I turn it on, and won't let me past.

you're gonna have to send that intercourse er in then. Unless you know how to hard mod yourself... but if that were the case I doubt you'd be asking us for help X_X;

Yeah, it's a serious issue. What's worse is that the text isn't even coming up normally. It's coming up in chunks. I only just made out bits of it, put it on google, and that was the result I found. Annoying as intercourse  when I rely on that to make income.

Plus, it's a launch day Wii. Meaning it's well out of warranty. :\

That's why you don't buy launch consoles. The only launch console I've ever bought that still works is my Gamecube (neither my N64 or PS2 were launch). My PS3 died after two months, and got another one via warranty, and my DS got a screen full of dead pixels five months in.

Macawmoses

I have numerous launch day consoles that I don't have issues with. This really seems to be an isolated issue for me.

I've gotten that error code when I want to play brawl...
The last time I got that error code was about 2 1/2 weeks ago, but I seem to get it once every 3 months or so.. (so not very often).
What I do is just turn it off and turn it back on and that does the trick.

I got my Wii on Launch and a month or so later, it just didn't work anymore so I sent it in.
I believe you do have to send it in and pay what ever it will cost.

Sometimes I get the thinking/feeling that Nintendo on purpose makes their product go hay wire right after it's warranty so you can spend the money to get a brand new one and pay for it and what not.

Thats messed up...

HTA!

You could clean it with some compressed air or something.
Otherwise, you are screwed.

Every attempt at turning it on generates the error :\

Nintendo isn't evil.

The Wii gets like that because you don't take care of it too much. Remember the double layer problem and dusty places?

They want me to send the f***er in.

my disc drive stopped working and they asked me to send it in and i got it back in a week. I'm not sure if they would be able to save your files though.
