Yup, that's right.  A live-action movie of the popular Nickelodeon cartooon.

This better go well, they've already completely screwed up the casting.  So much so that a group called 'racebending' is boycotting the movie because of the ethnicity of the chosen actors.

formerly: Marth Xero, Xero, Roy Khan, Diego Armando, Lux Aeterna, and more I forget it was like 11 years ago jeeze

Magnum

I believe M. Night Shamilan or whatever his name is, is making it.

IT LOOKS GAY

Oh Vesperia, never change... never change

Fish

 I dislike M. Night Shamilan' movies. This one looks pretty pathetic. It also reminds me a lot of the DBZ movie...

When will the studios realize that cartoons to live action NEVER works. Transformers was overrated as crap, Dragonball was horrendous, and frankly if they're going to make an ANIMATED show a movie, just make it ANIMATED. It's not that difficult! Besides, when you try to adapt cartoons to real life, the visual design is ALWAYS a million percent wrong.

SkyMyl

I've heard about it.

...I'm scared. ;_;

Indigo

It actually seems pretty decent so far, but in reality I haven't seen enough footage to make much of a judgment really. But it doesn't necessarily look bad yet. Special effects are decent, but hopefully it follows the storyline. DBE was only good for comical heartbreaking purposes.  This actually doesn't seem horrible yet. Just semi-okay.

Wabba

Gotta wait before until it is released to pass judgement.

I don't think it's possible to make a worse movie than DBE.
This movie will be far better than that, not like it's hard. At least M.Night seems to know his source material at least decently. I still bet this'll be bad though. M.Night hasn't made anything good since the mid-90's X_X;;

StarWindWizard7

So quick to judge.......... honestly.

name one cartoon to live action movie/series that actually worked.

JrDude

Wow... I KNEW this would end up happening, but so soon..? I know it won't be very good, but I hope it's at least decent, Avatar was an awesome show.
I hope the preview was just a preview and they use the real storyline, I actually think it may end up being a trilogy, or at least have a sequel, because it just wouldn't be good if they skipped that much, or didn't even end up facing the Fire Lord.

Dude .

I personally cannot wait for this movie. The trailer got me pumped. I love M. Night's movies, even the ones most people say are retarded. Which are most of them.
HEY LOOK HEY

Wait, do you mean Revenge of the fallen?
It's definatley not overrated.
Because everyone hates the movie for some reason.

I personally thought it was pretty good.

on subject,
I never liked Avatar, so me not liking/having no opinion, on the movie, is understandable.

If Spiderman was first a comic, then a cartoon, then a movie...does it work?

Superhero's are comic to movie. (guys like Hulk had live action tv series before the movies)
Anything that starts off as as a cartoon
