Hmmm.... you make a good point there.

I mean, if they want people with job experience only, eventually there won't be people with job experience left, then our economy will fail.

You also make a point there.  There are tech schools, which take part of the pain out of schooling.

I mean, I can see math skills for finances and poop, but some of it is unnecessary.

If they personally train them, then they're usually more efficent at what they do, vs being sent to a school that teaches everything else under the sun which probably doesn't even apply to the job.

This, They want to know how you work with people. Skills are a big part of you getting the job but if you have bad people skills or other problems they count against you.
