The one's that tired did a really bad job at it...who knew people could suck at being a bully...and that was only really in 7th grade...

And if the person that is bullying you is beat you down, don't use comebacks. They will make the bully rage and have a legitimate reason to beat you down. Ignore them and it will stop eventually.

As I said to JR, that's total bullpoop.
I've found that fighting back, despite punishment from teachers, is better since it sends a message to the bully that you won't take it standing down.
The whole pacifist approach does jack poop.

Well it probably depends on the person, but I do it all the time and see others who don't. It is indeed not bull poop.
I also forgot to mention, if you've been picked on for a long time, no matter what you do, it won't change.

In my experience between myself and others, being a pacifist is the last thing you should do. It just makes you more of an easy target.
It's just an excuse for the teachers/parents to be lazy and not have to break up any fights.

Unless it's like "zomg huge wrestler/football player massive" and a "tiny almost midget with no muscle" then it's still a good idea to throw a punch or shove or something. Getting beat up once or twice is better than constant tormenting. At least imho.
