If you can't tell, I went to Six Flags today, where I was told countless times to have a Six Flags day but not what a Six Flags day was.

Anyway, the topic is simple. Do you live near any amusement/theme parks and do you go often? Also, post about your obvious fear of heights (and the sun, seeing as this is video game centered internet forum, who goes outside?) and favorite coasters.

Rollercoatsers are the best thing ever.....more fun then video games, sex, and gambling all put together.

And I'm 100% serious about that......even if they only last just a few minutes, the thrill of going to fast and so high....its like flying lol. And I live about an hour and a half from 3 amusement parks.......although I'm moving in just a few months.

Yesterday, sort of. I was on the verge of crying. Why? I got into an argument with a couple other people from #nsider and it got me really upset. I didn't really cry much though

Can we ban Hoss, please?

We used to have a Six Flags in Houston.
It was called Astroworld.
Don't know why they took it down. Shame really.
And yes, I hate the sun. It burns my eyes. :(

Plus you have the flashbacks once you're done for a while. You still imagine yourself being hurtled through the air while packed into a cart.

One a good traffic day, we can get to Six Flags over Georgia in about half an hour.
Haven't gone as much the last couple years.

I HATE being outside, but I'll go to amusement parks just to ride the roller coasters. They're great. I just hate the wooden rickety ones. The loud bangs they make and the fact that it's wood is more than scary. My favorite is Batman, as it goes so insanely fast, and the Superman Ultimate Flight, as it's a coaster that pulls you up so your stomach faces the ground to "simulate flying". It's actually pretty cool.

Captain Justice

haha yeah.....once you finally lay down and sit still for awhile, you still kinda feel like your moving.

And Sync.....it prolly shut down because Six flags is going massively bankrupt lol

We have the Batman, but it's not the fastest, though still awesome. Where your feet dangle and you go through twists and flips in insanely tight turns? It's one of my favorites.

And we have two wooden coasters here. One is a massive intertwining mass of wood and track. It's the fastest coaster we have IIRC, going 66 mph.

Gwen Khan

OMGROLLERCOASTERS!!! I'm addicted to the thrill. <3

I live a good hour away from Six Flags Great America, near Chicago, and I might go in August sometime. My faves there are Raging Bull, Batman the Ride, V2, and Viper. Though in two weeks, I'm hoping to go out to Ohio and get a trip to Kings Island in. I really wanna ride KI's Beast and Son of Beast, but SoB might not be running. Dx ... Damn it, now I'm all hyped and ready to go on a ride now! xD

Raging Bull... Bad ass mo'fo.

Viper.... Can you say "Air time!"

V2... WEEE!
