A mix of a realistic flight sim and an arcade shooter from the makers of Ace Combat, Sky Crawlers is coming to America this autumn on Wii.

The story is about a world where peace is established, but not good enough for people. So instead of fighting actual wars, huge cooperations fight "wars" for peoples enjoyment.

I have always looked for a good airplane game on Wii, and while Wii Sports Resort has a mini-game, this lookx even more promising.

Ace Combat is/was pretty popular, if that's what you're talking about.

Sky Crawlers is an adaptation of several Japan-only novels, they were never released in North America.

Ace Combat was pretty good on the PS2. Hopefully this game will be like that.
