All Nighters

All nighters, like tonight, are often fun. But, on the flip side, can be nasty as hell.

I tend to pull a lot of all nighters doing homework and/or reviews. It's the only way I have had time to get things done. Partying...no, work, yes.

Water is my best friend. Drink a lot of it, then piss it out. Process keeps you awake and thinking, and is my general strategy. However, tonight, I was beat, so I brewed up some tea. That helps.

How often do you pull all-nighters? What for? What do you to do stay awake?

Never stayed up ALL night, so this will be my first. The last time I tried, I accidentally fell asleep when watching TV.

I have to sleep in daylight to prevent anxious breakdowns.

I couldn't do it. I'm nocturnal, but do it too often and I crash for days.

This. If I try going to bed early, I'll just be lying there and eventually fall asleep past 5 in the morning.

I don't pull all nighters normally because it pisses my mom off and then I'd get hell from her.

But when I do pull an all nighter for whatever reason I just stay awake.....It's not all that hard for me. Unless I'm in a car, when I'm in the car and the slightest bit tired I'll fall asleep, even if it's mid day, I dunno why...

how long do you have to stay up for it to be considered "all night". Most I've ever done was stay out until 7 am.

The general consensus is the all means "Every part of" and that night means "The period of time during which the sun isn't visible."

Therfore, if you were there when the sun went down, and when it came up, congrats.

Only once have I pulled an all nighter. A few days ago, actually.
It didn't affect me.
