You could always unplug your wii at night if its bugging you so much.
It doesn't happen very often, I just wish Nintendo was considerate/smart enough to not send these things at midnight/1am when some people have the system in the room they sleep in. Would delaying it half a day to do it at noon or something too much to ask for?

For the last time, just go to the options and turn the (BEEP) light off! -_-

JrDude

Hold the power button ON the Wii and it will turn off all the way to a red light, then it won't turn back on to update.
Mine still hasn't updated.

My guess is that you haven't accepted WiiConnect24 yet.

Try to update it manually.

JrDude

Whatever WiiConnect24 is, I'd rather not have it if it turns on your Wii in the middle of the night.

It's a freaking light. It's not Nintendo's fault you wake up at 2 AM to find your Wii glowing. Just turn it off, it's not like you play the gosh darn thing that much.

JrDude

But that blue light won't turn on AT ALL if you hold the power button long enough (On the Wii, not the controller).

...That's the point he's trying to get to, just turn it off and view any new messages when you get the chance...

Apparently, this version fixes small bugs as well as removing corrupt files.

Maybe the protection for homebrew got better as well.

Good to know. I'll avoid it. My brother will probably download it though D:

There is? Yay, now it won't blind me in the middle of the night.

Of course there is one.

Nayrman doesn't want to go there for some reason.
