Favorite Sonic game?

So, Sonic's been in a ridiculously large amount of games, and chances are, you're played at least one. So, which is your favorite?
I personally loved Sonic 3, but Sonic Rush was also a pretty solid game.

Sonic 3 and Knuckles (it's one game split into two because of cartridge space).
Rush was also excellent, and I'll always enjoy SA2.

except Mad Space... which was just the base Nintendo worked off of for Galaxy by fixing annoying glitches XD

Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Not even a hard choice.

Then again, I haven't played ~~any of the 3D ones~~ Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 yet.

Sonic 3 and Knuckles. The Sonic Adventure games were fairly solid, and the Sonic Rush games were decent.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Sonic 3 comes close in terms of gameplay, but SA2B wins because of the extra features + Chao garden.
