It?s been over a year since I?ve last attempted to host anything forum-wide like this. And let?s hope it will end up better than our last endeavor. But now is now, and it?s time for a change in the formula. Welcome? to Big Brother: NSFCD.



Twelve members of NSFCD will be moved into the Big Brother house, and begin a game that will test their skills, abilities, trust, and their strength in expecting the unexpected. All twelve will be competing against one another in order to win the top prize; what that prize is will be disclosed until sign ups have closed. However, I can say that it is one of the biggest prize values that this site has ever seen.

Each round of the game will usually consist of three phases; The Head of Household (HoH) competition and nomination ceremony, the Power of Veto (PoV) competition and ceremony, and eviction. Luxury or random competitions may or may not occur during certain rounds.

The Head of Household competition, which is usually a strategy or endurance challenge, determines who becomes HoH. The HoH puts two houseguests up for eviction, or elimination from the game. The HoH also gets some? special perks. What those are this season remain to be seen.

However, one of the HoH?s nominations can be overridden with the Power of Veto. The HoH, two nominees, and three randomly chosen participants will participate in the PoV challenge. The winner of the PoV competition can take someone down from the nomination block, thus forcing the HoH to put someone else up in their place. The person who won the Power of Veto competition cannot be put up.

Lastly, there is the eviction. All houseguests - EXCEPT the HoH and two nominees - have to vote for one of the two nominees to be sent home and out of the game. The houseguest with the most votes will be evicted from the Big Brother house. In the event of a tie, the HoH will decide who goes home. Afterwards, the next Head of Household competition will be held, and the entire cycle will repeat. Keep in mind, however, that if you were HoH the week before, you CANNOT win the next HoH competition.

Sign ups begin now, and end at midnight Pacific time on Thursday, the 6th of August, 2009. The game should begin one week from today, on Saturday. Feel free to put your name down to sign up after the required twelve have, though; who knows what could happen?
