My current love of a game. I can't even begin to address how much I like it. Nice fighting mechanics, screwed up story that never seems to have a happy ending(Unless it's a joke ending), and an online play that isn't crap.

Not many characters. Just 12. But none come close to another and have their own style of fighting. Ragna steals the life of the opponent, Jin is a rush or a defense character if you want him to be, Rachael controls wind to make her projectiles go anywhere, Tager magnetizes the opponent, Carl has a puppet, and so on.

The original arcade mode is still there and can be played with anyone, plus a new, longer story mode. An annoyance to me is that you must win AND lose every fight to get everyone's story 100%, but makes up for it with a deep story that actually took going through multiple stories to figure out what was going on.

Please tell me I'm not the only one with this. The only bad part so far is having to lose and Noel D spammers on Live/PSN.  :(

This game is at the top of my list for what I want for my birthday this year (well, behind Adobe Photoshop/Flash, but it isn't going to happen. D: ). The gameplay looks great, the storyline appears to be fantastic, and the rave reviews that I constantly see don't hurt it either.

Based on gameplay trailers, footage and such, I plan on trying out Taokaka and Ragna first.
Holy crap all my sigs were always poop. Best leave this space alone.

I love Taokaka. Her moves are quick and powerful when combo'd right. She's my Sub-character right now, but might main her.
Ragna is a great air-combo character from when I've been raped by him.
Hurry and get it so that I have someone on here to play with. It is fantastic. Plus everyone is cheap in a way(minus Bang, but he's just kick-@ss) so it's actually strangely even.

I'm getting it for the 360. Is that what you have it for?

Also, I've heard from a lot of people that everyone > Carl. What do you think?

360. And please don't mention Carl. I will shut them up. Someday. Even though he has crap defense against the worst attacks.

Also, Everyone > Everyone. Like I said, everyone is cheap in their own way. Ragna steals HP, Jin Freeze's everything, Carl has 2 vs. 1 if used right, Nu/V-13 can make blades appear from anywhere, Tager makes you com to him, Haku-men uses his weakest attack and you lose a chunk of your health, Bang blows up the screen with Fu-Rin-blah-blah-blah, Rachael = laugh in opponents face as you use wind and have them go flying back, Taokaka jumps around the screen faster than anyone can move, Litchi's boobs distract you while she beats you up, Arakune curses you and bugs maw you from everywhere, Noel is beast and everyone D spams her to victory.

BTW, when you get the game, don't think you are god when you press the A button with Noel and you destroy the opponent in seconds.

I've learned not to do that with fighting games. I made that mistake with SSB and Soul Calibur 2. So, the game's pretty much balanced? I'd heard that a lot, and wanted to make sure. Just, people always seem to say that Carl is below everyone else. Good thing that everyone has equal pros/cons. He looks like a good character if used correctly.

I wanted to use him when I saw his character, then I really wanted to get better when I got infinite twice in the same match.
The guy was 'nice' enough to let me out of the first one. So watch out for those.

Carl is weird. If they (somehow) make a tier list for this game(I hope they don't. Tiers ruin games sometimes. Right now everyone is whoever is fun. Tier list comes out, everyone is whoever is at the top), he will be moved around on a daily basis. He has above average reach with some of his regular attacks, doll makes you watch your front and back, nice move to keep you off him(such as a nice little dash that moves quickly around the oppenent) but it is all for none if you get hit ONCE because of his defense.

I've actually seen a few tier lists for BB. The thing is, they were all different. Most had nu-13 and Ragna towards the top of the list, though. But I agree with you; tier lists can easily kill a game's fun value.

SIDE-NOTE: If you can, get the Limited Edition. It comes with a soundtrack, and it is easily the most enjoyable soundtrack I've gotten from a game. The beats are fun and mostly different.

Also, prepare to laugh when you meet V-13 with Ragna for the first time. It was so strange and just killed but made the moment. Don't spoil the game if you can. Don't watch any cut scenes or anything or it just won't work. Trust me.

Syncopathic

Two words: Bang Install.

I'll also be getting BlazBlue whenever I have enough money. Which might not be soon. :(

I really want to get the Limited Edition, but by the time my birthday rolls around (the 19th), it may be gone from everywhere. D: My dad will see what he can do; if anyone in the family loves games as much as I do, it's him. He'll try his hardest to find it, I'm sure.

When Ragna meets with V-13 the first time, huh? I'll keep that in mind.

@Sync; lol, Bang. :P

Which is why he is a good character.

AND......

Oh noes!

Your birthday is too far away. Let's switch. Mine is the 6th. Tell your parents you switched with me and boom, you have it quicker.

I've seen that video. Made me chuckle for a few good minutes.

Eh, I'd rather give my dad more time to look for the Limited Edition than get the regular one sooner. From the music I've heard so far, I'd say it's worth getting the CD.

8-Bit

Also, I'm sure that Amazon and the such have it. I just got lucky and I walked in when the game store had it ready to rent out. I rented it twice now and if I rent it a third time I can fully buy it at a lower cost. Plus the owner said I can hang onto it until it's fully paid off. AKA my game.

I'm pretty sure my dad'll go in store to buy the game, not purchase online. I may be able to talk to him about the possibility, though.

Awesome 8-bit music, btw.
