Caster Semenya, you've probably heard of her. And if you clicked the link, you definitely just saw her. A South African "female" runner. People got a good look at her abs, heard her deep voice, picked up on her manly stature and suddenly everyone is exclaiming, "This man can't compete in a female's division!" Well, it's true that men can't compete with the females *coughsexismcough* but what makes Ms.(?) Semenya a male? Many doctors were wondering this very question, and apparently it's much more in-depth than just taking a look down there and seeing if it dangles.

Well, for all of our avid viewers, the results are in. It seems, Caster Semenya is not only a male... but she's a female, too! Ah, what's that term? Oh yeah, hermaphrodite. Yes, the same kind as Elphaba, the green-skinned Wicked Witch of the West. What does this mean for his/her running days? Well, it's tough to say. It's going to be even tougher to strip that hunk of gold medal from her [now] unsusprisingly manly arms. Oh wait, there is a way to make things easy! It seems the scandal delves deeper, as we find out that Mr. Semenya has internal male organs, and is missing a uterus as well as ovaries. Not only that, but she has a higher level of testosterone than the average woman. Is it because she isn't a woman? Who knows.

In fact, the only thing that has been made clear by this gender test is that Caster Semenya is most likely deeply embarrassed, and the rest of us are even more clueless than before. Good job, America, you made a grown man cry. Anyway, you can discuss this exciting twist of events.

Now for the much more important topic that people actually care about: hot dogs or hamburgers?
I get obsessively manic over things. It's a problem.

 =O

Holy ****. I didn't think that there were actually any hermaphrodite. Wow, I feel bad for her.

Also, Hamburger

Oh Vesperia, never change... never change

I've been watching it on the news, but I didn't think anything would come of it. It's very freakish, but I think part of it is the western perspective on what a female should be. She clearly doesn't meet our norms, and as such was accused of something rather unjustly. Note that I am still calling her a her...she walks like a duck, talks like a man, but ultimately, I think she's a woman.

STEROIDS
The buffing out sex-change drug.
Seriously, when guys take it, their balls shrink, and their man boobs get boobier. When girls take it, their voices get manly, they grow more hair in more places, and they get buff, which in itself is manly.

Will you intercourse ing read?  She has testicles internally instead of ovaries.  Steroids do not make you grow testes, nor cause your uterus to disappear.

Oops, I seemed to have skipped that part by accident.

I consider her a woman as well, although I'm curious to see what their official ruling is. They still haven't decided whether they'll be letting her compete in the female's division or not (if I'm not mistaken), but they were quick to point out that she seems to have more man than woman in her. Still, with cases like these it's hard to decide.

Lotos

Why didn't they try to find out about this sooner?

I'd let her compete in the female competition if it was up to me...
