Basically, it comes down to more talk of guitar hero going into something like Plug N Play, versus actually using a system. This really scares me D:

I mean, this would throw all the power into Activision's hands - which isn't something I like to think about. Would you buy a non-console GH?

No, I would never buy a console-free Guitar Hero.
How would you get DLC? Achievements? What if the game breaks?
It's just not worth it.

When I see Plug and Play games, I see poop.  I can see Guitar Hero going into that.  Maybe then Frets on Fire would somehow get a console spot, but then I can see a lawsuit or two arising.
