We're on 10-week trimesters here, and the campus is only a couple square blocks. Although individual professors occasionally cancel class if they're extremely sick or have to suddenly speak at a convention, I have yet to see a day where the school up and cancels all classes.

Our college is like the size of a mid-size hotel, but I doubt it would be closed for anything besides a Natl holiday, or "Snow Days".

police

lockdown
first block all day
Teacher wants to teach all day
students getting dismissed
didn't have a cell phone
got dimissed at 1:05
finally got to call a ride at 1:56
caught a ride with my cousin (who is a police cop) who also got maced.

Last year it flooded from heavy, heavy rain. And, of course, Hurricane Gustav.

Last year. School was closed for two weeks because of hurricane Ike. I was one of the lucky people who had power during those two weeks. So all I did was play vidya gaems. :U

Oh wait, there was that one time when the water pipes froze and burst at my grammar school like six years ago early in the morning. Got the whole day off. :U Other than that, nothing.
