Texting

Texting has become very popular in our society. I personaly text ALOT Just last month I sent around 16 thousand text messages. This is my average and I only text 2 people constantly.

However I am trying to cut down, I find texting addictive and anything addictive is bad for you. Plus it cuts out on time I spend with my friends and is a distraction from Gaming.

How many people here text? If you do how often?
Also what is your opinion on texting?

16 is an average :D

Realistically, typing in the IRC and through AIM/MSN is also texting, I probably send over 20,000 messages a month, and receive just about the same

Oh god, I type about 200 texts in about 2 days. Probably more. Fortunately I have unlimited.

It's just so convenient. Some people don't use the internet, and sometimes what I have to say doesn't need an actual phone call. Besides, I'm not much of a phone person.

I use t9 typing. :3
