Now that Halloween is over, let's go back in time to remember our scariest Halloween.

Mine was the year in school (back in Elementary school, I believe - 1st or 2nd grade, maybe?) that everyone was telling the story of Bloody Mary. By the time I got home from school, I had picked out my favorite version of the story and was re-telling it to my mom. I was pretty scared, yet she was insistent that nothing happened if you said "Bloody Mary" three times in front of a mirror. Of course she has to prove me wrong, and so she stands in front of a mirror and recites that cursed incantation. I tried stopping her, but to no avail. After she finished guess what happened?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing happened. I was shaken, but no harm was done. That was after school, around 4. As it got later into the night and I was back from trick-or-treating, I went into my room to draw or whatever five year old girls did. Suddenly, a loud "SMASH" noise came from my mother's room, followed by a blood piercing shriek. It sounded like glass shattering, and it was coming from my mom's room (where the mirror was). I ran in, to find my mom stone white and in shock, our window smashed open, and a pumpkin laying in bits on our floor. Apparently, it had missed my mom by merely one inch.

Next thing I know, our house has been egged, our window has been broken, I heard my mom scream "FUCK YOU" to laughing teenagers for the first time in my life, and I met a police officer. A few days later, my mom went to get her pictures from Halloween developed. To this very day, we are still mystified by what happened to those pictures. Every single one of them dated 'October 31st' had a ghostly, light purple outline of a pumpkin surrounding the entire frame. Needless to say, those pictures were ruined, and my mom believed saying "Bloody Mary" three times into a mirror on Halloween was to blame. Just think what would have happened if she had done it at night, rather than in the afternoon.

Actually, this incident is one of the main reasons we moved from that house. Well, it was the last straw. We ended up moving later that year. That was my last Halloween at that house. Some of the other reasons were numerous break ins, jewelry stolen, cars stolen, etc. Well, it was a bad positioning for the house. The way it was set-up made it perfect for robberies and little punks who wanted to throw pumpkins through our windows.

tl;dr - Scariest Halloween was evil scary pumpkin ghosts and Bloody Mary.

Any fascinating Halloween stories of your own?
I get obsessively manic over things. It's a problem.

Lotos

No scary Halloweens.  I remember going out with a faux-hawk in 9th grade.  I thought it was cool, what a faggot I was- Don't say anything :|

Custom

All of the ones where I scared all the children.

Oh wait, that wasn't scary for me at all.

Freshman year, some guy chased my friends and I with a chainsaw, but that was nothing compared to the Sunday before this Halloween. My mom had a heart attack that nearly killed her. It's something that you do NOT want to witness or have happen. Ever. ... Scary because it wasn't just some scare, poop was real as real can get.
