Windows 7 Good/Bad

I was wondering how good Windows 7 is, I don't really want to get it but it sounds like I may need to for school.  I need some feedback on how good it is.

It's an upgraded Vista. If you liked Vista, you'll love 7. Simple as that. Ask Lichig0 for a personal opinion.

The way I understand it (from Friday)  it would be an install disc.

@Silverhawk79- I will sooner or later, I hope later.  I don't feel like messing around with an upgrade right now.

From what I've heard: Runs like XP, looks like Vista.

Though I think it looks better than Vista :3

My dad has it and I saw it running on a little laptop at Best Buy today.  I'm going to miss the Windows at the bottom as bars, but I think it will be worth it if it runs better than Vista.
