The character models don't look much different. Just more sharper.
The backgrounds is all BLOOM but pretty I guess.

Wasn't expecting it, but it doesn't surprise me that it'll be on HD consoles. Still, I can't play it, so yeah. Shame Ubisoft won't release it in the US and EU.

If it weren't for No More Heroes 2 coming in March there really would be no reason to care about the Wii anymore.

You kidding? The graphics look WAY better. See what happens when you have a console with an actual processor Nintendo!
It's definitely worth the buy again since I didn't pay full price last time. Hopefully they'll fix a few of the bugs and driving sections but other than that looks great.

Actually, I think it is testament to what the Wii can do. It makes for a good field test for new series and ideas. I hope MadWorld comes multiplatform as well.

A good field test? You must be kidding...
NMH got horrible sales in Japan and only did moderately well in America. Although "moderately well" for a third party company on a Nintendo platform is apparently the equivalent of a billion copies these days unless your name is Madden...

Field test in the sense that it tested new ideas on a fairly safe platform. If it had debuted on 360/PS3 I fear it would not be appreciated.

The games ideals/etc. are who knows where.

A lower budget mature game had a better home on Wii as Wii owners craved it.

I wouldn't consider it safe. The Wii is directed at families, while the Xbox is directed at teens and adults that want to ignore their wives while they play Call of Duty. There were Wii owners that wanted a mature game, but we are nothing compared to the amount of families that bought a Wii, or the amount of teens who would pick up a gore filled game on 360. Sure, if it was released ther same way it looked on the Wii, you would get the teens that say, "Ew, those graphics are horrible and that means it's a bad game!111!!!!111!!" But if it was released the same way it looks in the above photos, it would have sold like hotcakes.

I've seen the trailer for the game in Youtube, and many people complained that Suda51 is releasing the game for the other platforms. Honestly speaking, this is like Suda51 'betrayed' Nintendo in some way. It makes me think he used the Wii just to test the game out first before moving it to the other platforms (which could be the possible reason).

People are complaining about that because No More Heroes is one of the very few good games on Wii, take that away from them and make a better version on different consoles and then it makes the number of good titles on Wii even less. Why would you buy the Wii version when you can buy the nicer looking version? It just makes people look down upon the console. I don't remember Suda51 ever saying, "We're attached to Nintendo and Nintendo alone." or "No More Heroes is a Wii exclusive."
