At school, how is NS2 blocked but Kotaku and reddit are not?

Recycling; How is NSider2 blocked for "games" but Kotaku and Reddit are not blocked. Nothing of value was lost.

That's strange. For a time, my school didn't block Encyclopedia Dramatica (we use laptops), but my friends and I went on it in school and this year it's blocked. They don't block MyLifeIsAverage (don't know about FML) or this site though: http://www.beefgir.com/ Beefgir is my homepage lol.

I have yet to check ED and 4chan. I don't want to be intercourse ed over if they see that I've been there though. Maybe I'll do it on the last day of school?

Unless your school is seriously strict, if you're feeling just a bit confident, just DO IT. I've done it before and just got the blocked page at least twice, as well as numerous times from ED. Nothing's happened to me. But then again, we are at totally different schools. So do what you feel is right.

For as long as I've been there (I'm a junior) my school blocks 4Chan as well. There are a few Channers at my school, so that might be why.
